Recently a good friend of mine (a serious runner;) wrote the most beautiful, inspiring
post about why she runs. it's caused me to think about why i run. is it too get skinny, for health, to be alone, to feel the evening breeze against my face, to be able to bask in the "high" afterward? i'm not sure exactly, but there is
something about this tedious sport that i've grown to love. On this particular day, it was the fact that my children thought i was the coolest mom in the world when i pinned on this number. the eqivalent to superman's cape. at the end, Brody ask me "if i won?" "yep...absolutely!"

yay shauna! and yay for running! love this post and the adorable pictures...especially the thumbs up! and congrats on "winning!" i did my first 5k a couple weeks ago and i LOVED it and pretty much felt like i won too!!
