Bye-bye new born... hello baby! I'm still not sure how I feel about this, but facts are facts. She's rolling over, laughing, grabbing, kicking and squealing with delight. it's official.

Happy Daddy Day

I took the kids to Walmart to look for Father's day cards. We looked for a long time, I mean as long as you can look when restricted to "the dollar" section (no indication of what you're actually worth to us of course;). Maddie picked up each card and put it back. Clearly, not pleased with anything she saw, she finally looked at me and said, "Dad thinks I'm the greatest artist in the world, I can make something much gooder than this." And in that moment I thought, "well there you go...mission accomplished." I guess some of this parenting stuff... building confidence, teaching independence...whatever crap...is actually sticking.

Good job babe.

Before we had kids I thought you were the greatest...now that we do...I know you're the greatest. Plus...I'm feeling very legit in the parenting department with the addition of #3, aren't you? We love you brent, you're the butter on our bread.

Marley's blessing day

Marley was blessed on May 21st. It was a special day... and one thing is for sure, (besides the fact that she resembles a quaker baby in this hat;) she is so loved, and such a special addition to our family. We love you Mar-Mar.

Easter?

Have I really not even blogged Easter yet? This is sooooo pathetic. Here I went and made a goal to be better at blogging this year (as this is pretty much the only scrapbook my kids will ever see of their childhood) and I'm so far behind. oh well.

Maddie found the silver one. When she found this egg, it was the happiest I had ever seen her in her entire life...seriously.

She proceeded to walk around it with it, for pretty much the whole next week.

Happy Easter. Can I even say that still? For posterity sake I guess.
